How to claim the grant

Four steps, from your CAF CANADA membership to your place in the competition.

    Be a CAF CANADA member club

    Your club needs an active CAF CANADA club membership. Not a member yet? Register your club with CAF CANADA first, then come back to apply.

  2. 2

    Apply with your ID

    In step 1 of the application, enter your club’s membership ID. We verify it with CAF CANADA and your fee drops to $2,500.

  3. 3

    Pay the $500 deposit

    The non-refundable reservation deposit is paid when you submit, by Interac e-Transfer or card. The grant comes off your balance, not the deposit.

  4. 4

    Pay the balance

    Pay the remaining $2,000 by April 30, 2027, at once or in several payments from your Team Portal.

Have your membership ID?

Enter it and continue to the application: we verify it with CAF CANADA and apply the grant before you pay.

Questions

Our club isn’t a CAF CANADA member. Can we still get the grant?

Yes: register your club with CAF CANADA first. Once your membership is active, apply with your new membership ID. Applications without a verified ID pay the full fee of $3,000.

Can the grant pay our deposit?

No. Every club pays the $500 reservation deposit when it applies. The grant reduces what is left to pay: $2,000 instead of $2,500.

Where do we find our membership ID?

It is on your club’s CAF CANADA membership confirmation. You can check a number on cafcan.ca before you apply.

What if the ID can’t be verified when we apply?

The application tells you why (not found, expired, individual membership). Until the ID is verified, the full fee applies: correct the number or contact CAF CANADA before you submit.

Is the deposit refundable?

No. The reservation deposit books your club’s place and is non-refundable.

We played last season. Does the grant apply?

Yes, if your club’s CAF CANADA membership is active when you register for the new edition.

Conditions

  • For clubs with an active CAF CANADA club membership when they submit their application. Individual memberships are not eligible.
  • One grant of $500 per club, on the Winter Indoor 2027 · 2nd Edition registration fee.
  • Claimed when you apply: enter your membership ID in the application. It can’t be added after you submit.
  • The grant does not replace the $500 reservation deposit, which is due when you apply and is non-refundable.
  • The league confirms your membership with CAF CANADA again before approving your club.
  • Open to clubs representing any eligible nation.
